		<description><![CDATA[Finally a bit of good news, but this is only a delay. Everyone must continue to fight against the Peripheral Tunnel as it should be called now. The tunnel has been the plan all along and it is giong down the western edge of the Delta. The end result will be the same, people just won&#039;t see how much water is being taken becuase it will be underground. They are also planning to close off False river. This one is called the Franks Tract Project, it has not gone away either, just on delay. Just follow the PG&amp;E towers/easement and you can basically see the PERIPHERAL TUNNEL  route from north to south.]]></description>
